Hey there onlooker! Welcome to my site. This is where I house and collect both my professional and personal art. Feel free to look around, but first here's a little about myself.
I started out as a traditional artist. My favorite medium was charcoal. I loved playing around with shades of black to create light. I also enjoyed drawing pretty much anything. I wanted deeply to be a part of making video games and movies growing up. I have two passions in this industry, and that is mocap and modeling. I've been doing mocap for over 4 years now. I absolutely love it. Some people can find the data cleaning to be tedious, but I actually find it relaxing. I also do stage capture QA work. This is probably my favorite part. Working with clients is fun, and I like being a part of the whole process. I can retarget as well, which is the process of making small adjustments to the data, so that it better matches with the reference footage. I have experience teaching and assisting other artists with the cleanup process as well as helping find new and better solutions that streamline the pipeline.
Another passion of mine is modeling. There is a sense of satisfaction when creating something from just a picture or an idea. I can do both low and high poly models in Maya as well as sculpting in Zbrush. I love learning new tools in Zbrush, actually I love learning new programs in general. Texturing is also fun. I do most of my texturing in Photoshop. My degree in Graphic Design really benefited me in that department. It gave me a good basis to start with. I'm always on the hunt for better and more efficient ways to texture. Currently I'm brushing up on my hand painted textures. Those are nice, because they don't cost as much render wise, and the style looks very cool.
Thanks for checking out my work. I hope you enjoyed it.
